History

Mike Zajicek (left) made his first custom windsurfing board in 1978. Shaping boards became a full time job for him in 1986 and he has been shaping custom windsurfing and kitesurfing boards for recreational and racing enthusiasts ever since. His clients have spanned the globe and feature names such as Matt and Kevin Pritchard, Phil McGain, Jimmy Diaz, just to name a few.

In 2014 he began a collaboration with long time friend and product designer Stefano Moris, to develop what is known today as the Bullet series of racing hydrofoils.

Working closely together the pair have developed what is arguably the fastest hydrofoil on the racing circuit, dominating top finishes in all the major world racing events.

In response to the overwhelming demand, in 2019 Mikeslab hydrofoils expanded production to Italy. This guarantees the ability to give the service and support to their European clients that Mikeslab is well known for.

Using composite construction, state of the art materials, enthusiasm, and years of shaping experience, Mikeslab has brought the art of race hydrofoils to a new level.
